I am trying to create webjobs which access data in specific collections , updates them , accesses external apis, and sends email notifications. The creation is failed in notifcation , but the jobs get created but with wrong settings.

Screenshot 2024-04-16 153442.pngI tried setting up scheduled triggered webjob with a basic demo file it worked but when i uploaded the working zip setups for my scheduled tasks they dont work as expected, Like the demo file was setup correctly with the schedule, but my scheduled job " updateOutcomeFromChain" though triggered and scheduled went into manual state. What can be the reasons. The code works fine and is tested.

Not able to deug issues cause can't find descriptive log messages in log stream , server logs.

Based on the share information, I understand that you are trying to create a webjob through portal by uploading the .zip files and facing the issues.

Make sure that you have selected type as triggered and triggers as scheduled before uploading the zip file.

Also, from the image I can see that the web job status as failed can you review the web jobs logs by requesting this URL "https://<WebAppName>.scm.azurewebsites.net/azurejobs/#/jobs/<WebJobName>" to understand better.

Yes the type selected was scheduled , but still it took it as manual , Also the code woks fine on server but fails as a webjob , what could be the reasons, also why are the webjobs getting created when it shows they are failed?

@Sumit Mahto Can you look at the looks of the webjob by using the above mentioned url to know why the webjob is failed.

got nothing to debug on the link the scheduled trigger got created as manual webjob.

and when i open the link this opens , theres no reason as to why the webjob is being created this way.

@Sumit Mahto Thanks for response, I have reviewed the backend logs for the webjobs that are present in the app service(rsdevwe**ppapi) starting from 15th April 2024. I don't see any failures on the webjob "fectchOutComeFromChain".
