Failed to add azure webjobs in linux server

When every I am trying to add Azure Webjobs in linux OS its show failed to add web jobs. I am using curl command in the .sh file for adding the webjobs.

Second one always shows: Results error and shows symbol.

Based on the shared information, I understand that you are trying to create the webjobs on linux app service and it is failing.

I hope you are aware that webjobs on linux code and linux container are in preview and also you can run either .sh scripts or the selected runtime language webjobs as mentioned in this article.

I understand that you are trying to add using the curl request have you tried adding/creating the webjob through portal facing the same issue?

Are you able to run the webjobs locally with out any issue?

Also, can you help us with the complete command/ request that you are using to create webjob

Please share the complete error message and operation Id or correlation Id of failure operation to check and assist you better.

So here is what Navaneeth tried to do.

He created a sample Springboot application exposing APIs. This sample app is Java app deployed in Linux container

He then tried to create Web Job in which he used sh files.
Sh files simply just contained the "curl <<API endpoint>>"

when he tried to create teh web job he got that error he showed in screenshot.

@Gopal, Navaneethakrishnan , Kesharwani, Avitesh Thanks for your response but looking at the error message in screenshot is very hard to understand. If you have retried the operation could you please copy and paste the error message, operation id and correlation id to check further.

Also, have tried uploading the webjob code .zip or .sh files from the portal directly using that method also are you facing the same error message ?

Yes. We tried to upload via .zip and .sh both ways through azure portal. But facing issue. Actually we can get another error message also. I have attached the screenshot for your reference

Getting the same issue. Whenever I try to save the webjob it shows me a 400 bad request on the notification.

I uploaded the same zip file I used for the Windows web job to the Linux app service. it throws the same error

I experienced this problem. I fixed it by

Publish to a local directory with target Linux-x64 (I don't know if Linux-x64 is strictly necessary, portable may also work)

In the publication directory, add file run.sh with the contents
#!/bin/sh
./NameOfYourBinary

Zip the contents of the publish folder

Add the webjob in the Azure portal

Enable the basic authorization for the app service. This will solve the issue
