Intermittent SSRS Authentication issues.

Good day,

I have an SSRS installation that is giving intermittent authentication issues. I have read through:

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/reporting-services/security/configure-windows-authentication-on-the-report-server?redirectedfrom=MSDN&view=sql-server-ver15

And we are seeing users that just get kicked back to the credential request.

The RSReportServer.config is set up for NTLM as the article suggests: <Authentication>

<AuthenticationTypes>

<RSWindowsNTLM/>

</AuthenticationTypes>

They are using edge.

They are logged in to their local machine using full AD credentials. (As opposed to a PIN) If I try to log in to SSRS on their machine I get in successfully.

All security is by AD Group.

We have a hybrid environment where we use both Azure AD and Local Domain controllers.

The credentials exist on the local DC and are properly configured. This does not happen for every user, nor does it happen every time for the most of the users who experience the issue. Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions as to the issue, or its resolution?

Thank you for your time.
