reimaged offline ca domain error

Hi,

I have an offline root ca which have backed up by taking a disk image and restoring to an identical box (for storage in two different locations). When trying to publish a new CRL on the reimaged box, get the below error.

"Configuration information could not be read from the domain controller either because teh machine is unavilable..."

Any idea on this?

Thanks,

Paddy

    Hello,

Thank you so much for posting here.

How to Publish New Certificate Revocation List (CRL) from Offline Root CA to Active Directory, we could refer to the below article:

    https://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/19160.how-to-publish-new-certificate-revocation-list-crl-from-offline-root-ca-to-active-directory-and-inetpub.aspx

When we tried the below step, the error occurred, right?

Besides, have we configured CDP and AIA properly on the offline root CA? For more detailed information about this, we could refer to:

For any question, please feel free to contact us.

    Best regards,
    Hannah Xiong
