Try taking ownership of following folder (assuming Windows is installed on C:), see if it helps:
C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Search

Check for updates: Make sure your Windows 10 device has the latest system updates installed. Go to the Start menu and select Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Check for updates.
Search and Indexing Troubleshooter: If you're running Windows 10 Version 1903 (May 2019 Update) or later and Windows detects an issue, the Search troubleshooter automatically runs to reset Windows Search. You can find it in your troubleshooting history under Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshooting > View history. If the issue is still not resolved, run the Search and Indexing troubleshooter to try to fix the possible issue.
