Since 8th April 2024 VPN getting 'Unknown Resource Health Event' messages. Does anyone know why this is?

Since the 8th April 2024 all our VPN connections over 8 subscriptions have suddenly started getting multiple 'Unknown Resource Health Event' messages.

These VPN connections have been established for extended periods of time and have previously had nothing but 'available' messages.

Does anyone know why this started happening on the 8th April 2024 and why this date seems to be significant?

Have there been any updates, changes, enhancements applied to the Azure VPN architecture?

Exact same problem here!

The site-to-site VPN connection started reporting health events on April 8th 2024.

The Virtual Network Gateway started reporting health events on March 21st 2024 with 1 event per day, always at 8:37:11 AM PDT. Then it became multiple events per day starting Apri 9th 2024.

We have a Cisco Meraki firewall on our end.

I understand that from 8th April 2024 suddenly started getting multiple 'Unknown Resource Health Event' messages.

Currently this is a known issue and product team is working on the resolution. I will post an update here as soon as the issue is resolved.

I just got an update that the issue has been mitigated and the multiple 'Unknown Resource Health Event' messages should have stopped by now.

The alerts above were false negatives and this was a purely cosmetic issue and had no effect on the actual connectivity.

Thanks for the response we have seen these messages stop on all our UK region based subscriptions now thank you, but they are still occurring on our Australian region based Subscriptions. I will keep an eye on them and see if this cascades down to them as well over the next few days.
