@John Gray Can you please share a bit more about your scenario?
What kind of lock do you have on your Azure blob storage account? Did you apply the lock by mistake and want to delete it?
In the context of Azure Storage accounts, there are two types of Azure Resource Manager resource locks that you can apply to prevent accidental or malicious actions:
- CannotDelete Lock: This lock prevents users from deleting a storage account. However, it permits reading and modifying the storage account’s configuration.
- ReadOnly Lock: A ReadOnly lock provides more stringent protection. It prevents users from both deleting the storage account and modifying its configuration. However, it still allows reading the configuration details.

Let me know and I can further investigate. Thanks.
