I made an incredibly stupid mistake in moving my US Windows10 desktop to the UK, and plugged it in without flipping the voltage input switch (I thought it was automatic). Obviously this blew out the PSU.
It was a 2016 machine (I know, but it still worked fine!), and was not worth replacing the PSU - it made more sense to update with a new PC. My problem is with the data, of course. I DID backup before moving ... but only on attempting to restore the backup onto my new machine have I realised that the email address I THOUGHT I was using on that machine ... was not the right one.
So, I have a lovely backup sitting in OneDrive ... but cannot access it unless I can remember which email account I used (I have several, and this would have been set back in 2016 so I absolutely can't remember). The data from the hard drive IS recoverable - so all I need to know is where to find the login settings - i.e. I assume these must be in a folder on the hard drive somewhere, surely?
Please can someone help? Big thanks :)
