Redirecting printers in RDS session

Hi!

I met with such a situation. There is an RDS server based on Windows Server 2022. Configuration and installation were performed by administrators who are unavailable.

Accounting users connect to the terminal session via a regular RDP client. And they don't have any кувшкусеув printers in the configuration. They all see all one printer in a session. Other users connect to the terminal session in the usual way and receive redirected printers.

I verifaied all settings and group policy settings. I can't find where to hard-tune the composition of printers in a terminal session.

Hello,

We need to ensure that the Remote Desktop Services (RDS) configuration on the server is set up correctly to allow printer redirection. You can check this by navigating to "Server Manager" -> "Remote Desktop Services" -> "Collections" -> "QuickSessionCollection" (or your specific collection) -> "Tasks" -> "Edit Properties" -> "Client Settings" -> "Redirection" tab. Make sure that "Windows Printer" is selected.

    Hi!

My problem is solved. The reason was the local group policy settings.
