Need Help with AVD Pink Screen on GPU VMs

John Fowler 5 Reputation points

Hello Folks,

We are implementing AVD for GPU users.

They have been experiencing (at random times throughout the day), their screens turning pink and distorted (image attached). Unfortunately, there is not much documentation online for this specific issue and troubleshooting has been difficult. The user's current workaround is to close their AVD session and then reopen it (something not sustainable as a fix).

The GPU users are using Standard NV6ads A10 v5 & Standard NC8as T4 x3 personal machines.

Has anyone run into this issue before? Any guidance is appreciated.

    Hello John Fowler

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A Platform, thanks for posting your query here.Based on the details you have shared, it is mostly caused by issues with the GPU driver.
Please make sure that you are running the latest supported version and also make sure that MSRDC is updated.

    Hope this helps.
