Port issue

Hi,

There is the proper firewall rule enabling the traffic on the port 25 but on the same OS, it is having

Microsoft Telnet> o localhost 25

Connecting To localhost...Could not open connection to the host, on port 25: Connect failed

Microsoft Telnet>

How to resolve it?

Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.

To further check this issue, please kindly follow below steps:

1.Check if SMTP service is running properly on the destination server. Port 22 is used for SMTP serivce, if service is not running it can fail to telnet.

2.Check if SMTP related dependency services are running and can also try to restart the service.
