Emails recover

Question

Could you please help with steps to recover emails from August 2021-September 2021 sent by user A to user B and/or User C (b and c both have left the business).

Please note:Hold enabled for all mailboxes.

To recover deleted messages for specified conditions that mentioned above you could use Content search as the following steps:

1. Log in the Microsoft Purview compliance portal
2. On the Content search page, select New search

3. On the Name and description page, enter a name for the search, an optional description.
4. On the Locations page turn the Exchange mailboxes on
5. On the Conditions page, choose the conditions you want to add.
6. Review the search settings and then select Submit to start the search.
