My Microsoft authenticator app is not letting me login in

My authenticator app is not working and letting me login because i have new phone

My case is similar. I had to factory reset my phone device for security reasons (potential malware infection) and there is no documentation regarding how to restore your passwords and everything back when resetting the phone. Is there any way to do it?

If you backed up first, you can use your recovery account. But will still need the account qr code

One to remember: if you get a phone phone, set up the new phone, and approve from the old phone before erase or return the old phone. Also best to register an alternative authentication method for each authenticator account.
