No DNS Setting Option in Windows 10

Its my first time asking question here, i wanna use Doh but it seems like i can't find the DNS Setting to edit the DNS.

I have tried changing it manually in the properties but i its still wont use Doh meanwhile from other Laptop its possible to setup the Doh.

How to make the DNS Setting show up so i can set up the Doh from setting menu?

Click Start, click Run, type ncpa.cpl, and then click OK.
In Network Connections, right-click Local Area Connection, and then click Properties.
Click Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4), and then click Properties.
In the Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) Properties dialog box, click Advanced.
On the DNS tab, configure the DNS settings

Yes, i have already edit it from properties in the Network Connection and it indeed write the DNS i enter in which 1.1.1.1 in my case but when i check to the 1.1.1.1\help it shows that i still has not connect to it.

I have tried changing to 8.8.8.8 too but still to no avail. So i thought maybe it has something to do with the reason i have no DNS Setting in below my IP Settings that actually make me can't use Doh.

Yes, i already tried changing the properties in Network Connections on my Connection on the The IP4 where in my case i change it to 1.1.1.1 but when i try check it on 1.1.1.1\help or dnsleaktest.com it show that the Doh didn't work since it still show the correct ISP name.

I also already tried changing it to 8.8.8.8 but it also the same result. Meanwhile on my other laptop its works. So i thought maybe it has something to do with the missing DNS Setting options below the IP Settings.

Start Command Prompt and run nslookup.

The output will show you the DNS server you are using for the name resolution.

Be aware that if you use an external DNS server like 8.8.8.8, then your local PC names will not resolve via DNS and you will need to rely on Network Discovery.

Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.

To find the Doh settings in Windows 10, please kindly follow below steps:

1.Go to "Settings" -> "Network & internet"

2.Open the active network.

3.Go to properties setting

4.In DNS server assignment setting, click "Edit" button.

5.In the pop out window you will be able to enable doh service for preferred DNS server and Alternate DNS server.
