    In case you want to patent your algorithm or design, you will need check with the copy-right or patent office in your country and officially register it. However, if you just publish an application in Microsoft Store, it will be under your name and others could not copy or gain access to the code. If anyone copy your application, then you may refer to the link in the Microsoft Store and ask to remove it.
