Hi all,

I am having a hard time understand why Teams meeting add-in failing on our RDS 2022. We have configured our RDS with FSlogix and everything is working as it should except Teams meeting add-in. We are using new Teams and everything is up to date.

I checked every article on the internet and does not matter what I do that add-in is still missing and even if I install it it won't appear.

Can someone please help with this?

    Hello,

You can try to use following step to troubleshoot your issue:

    1. Ensure that the Teams meeting add-in is compatible with Remote Desktop Services. Some add-ins may not function properly in a remote desktop environment. Check the Teams system requirements and compatibility documentation to confirm.
    2. Since you are using FSLogix, ensure that the profile containers are correctly configured to allow the Teams add-in to be installed and function properly. Check the FSLogix configuration settings and permissions to ensure they are not blocking the add-in.
    3. Verify that user profiles are loading correctly on the RDS server and that there are no issues with profile loading that could be affecting the Teams add-in. Test with a new user profile to see if the add-in appears for a fresh profile.
    4. You can try a classic teams version.
    5. Check the Group Policy settings on the RDS server to ensure that there are no policies blocking the installation or functioning of the Teams add-in. Look for any policies related to add-ins, Office applications, or Teams that could be affecting the add-in.

6.Check the Windows Event Viewer logs on the RDS server for any errors or warnings related to the Teams add-in. Look for any specific error messages that could provide clues about why the add-in is not working correctly.
