Need help in clearing confusion about logs ingestion service limits

I see that service limits listed for logs ingestion api is,

So the upper limit for data ingestion using Logs Ingestion api per min is,

12000 requests * 1MB ~ 1.2GB/min

I am not able to understand 'max data/min per DCR'. Can someone please help.

Limits apply to the data collection rule (DCR) and data collection endpoint (DCE) sending Prometheus metrics data to your Azure Monitor workspace.

DCRs define how data should be collected, transformed, and where it should be sent, while DCEs handle the actual data transfer and ingestion into Azure Monitor.

But this doesnt help me answer how 'max data/min per DCR' which is 2GB/min works in context of upper limit for data ingestion using Logs Ingestion api per min which is 1.2GB/MIN

The calculation posted in question is incorrect.

1GB = 1024 MB

Thus, in this case,

12000 requests/Min * 1MB is not equal to 1.2GB/min. It would be about 11.7GB.

However, as per the limit, the "Maximum data/minute per DCR" is 2GB.
