Fine tuning Llama 2 model in UK

We are trying to fine tune the Llama 2 model but it seems we need a project set up in the US West 3 region to do this. Right now when I try to fine tune I get this error: SpecialFeatureOrQuotaIdRequired InvalidTemplateDeployment: The subscription does not have QuotaId/Feature required by SKU 'S0' from kind 'AIServices' or contains blocked QuotaId/Feature.

Your understanding is correct. Fine-tuning of Llama 2 models is currently supported in projects located in West US 3 and the following Llama 2 family models are supported in Azure AI Studio for fine-tuning:

Llama-2-70b

Llama-2-7b

Llama-2-13b

I would suggest you, create a project in West US3 region and do let me know if you are still seeing this issue.

Thank you. That error actually happens when I try and create the project rather than when I try and fine-tune. Do you have any tips?

The subscription does not have QuotaId/Feature required by SKU 'S0' from kind 'AIServices' or contains blocked QuotaId/Feature.

This error usually occurs when there is no feature avilable in the specified regions and also if you do not have required permissions.

Please note that user account must be assigned the owner or contributor role for the Azure subscription. See Prerequisites for more details.
