    Hi,

    you could try this:

    Reset Windows Search by following these steps:

    1. Press Windows key + R to open the Run dialog box.
    2. Type “cmd” and press Ctrl + Shift + Enter to open Command Prompt as administrator.
    3. Type “net stop wsearch” and press Enter.
    4. Type “rd /s /q %LocalAppData%\Microsoft\Windows\1033\es-ES\Microsoft.Windows.Search_cw5n1h2txyewy” and press Enter.
    5. Type “net start wsearch” and press Enter.

    Hi Skyherobrine,

    Thanks for your post. Based on my research, there are 2 reasons that will cause the web search doesn’t take effect.

    1. Search highlights requires a device running Windows 10, 20H1 (May 2020 update) or later.
    2. Search highlights may also be turned off by the administrator of your organization.

    For the second one, you can follow the steps to check group policy.

    1. Go to Local Group Policy Editor ("gpedit.msc")
    2. Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates
    3. Windows Components -> Search
    4. Confirm "Do not allow web search" has set to “Not configure”
    5. Enable "Allow Cortana"
    6. Apply and restart.
