Can Document Intelligence recognize signatures in the document?

I want to process contract documents where detecting the presence of signatures is an important part of determining their validity. At the moment when I test the layout model with contract it appears that some signatures are recognized as text content which is not useful.

How can Document Intelligence show the presence of signatures and their locations within contract documents?

    Hi @Arman,

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A forum!

Document Intelligence can recognize signatures in a document using the Custom model API of Form Recognizer. To detect signatures in contract documents using Document Intelligence, you can specify certain fields as signatures. After your training set is labeled, you can train your custom model and use it to analyze documents. The signature fields specify whether a signature was detected or not.

To detect the signatures from documents you need to train by using the Custom template model. Please recheck the model you are using Custom template only.
