If you have both the classic and new versions of Teams installed on same VDI or PC, error CAA90049
follow these steps to fix it:
Uninstall the Old Version:
Click the Start menu.
Type "Teams" in the search bar.
I Teams apps, right-click each one and choose Uninstall.
Make sure classic Teams (work or school) is removed.
Open the Teams App:
Click on "Open new Teams" or "Try the new Teams" (if prompted).
This will switch or update you to the new version.
After doing this, the issue with duplicate Teams apps Error Code CAA90049 should be resolved.
