Test Manager retention period history loss

Hello,

we are running on 2022 on prem version of Azure DevOps with extension for Test Manager. Unfortunately, some team members have switched the Retention to 30days which resulted into history and data loss on many test cases. I would like to ask if it is possible to restore the historical information together with execution history? We have already set the Retention to "Never delete" but need to restore the lost data.

    Hi Jakub,

    The only people that could restore this is Azure/Microsoft. I'd recommend creating a ticket with Azure Support:

    For this specific case, you are going to want to get a support plan for the subscription that was affected.

    While there's no guarantee of a solution, it's crucial to take action promptly to maximize the chance of data recovery. I'd recommend not losing any opportunity to retrieve the data before it's lost permanently.
