Additionally, are there any important factors I should be aware of before clicking the "enabled" option for both services in the screenshot?

Will there be any data leaks or copies outside of my data jurisdiction?

Your assistance is much appreciated.

@EnterpriseArchitect - Thanks for the question and using MS Q&A platform.

    What license are required?

To access the prebuilt Azure OpenAI Service, including the Copilot in Fabric, you must have a paid SKU (F64 or higher, or P1 or higher) with capacity available in the following Fabric regions. The Azure OpenAI Service isn't available on trial SKUs.

The preview of Copilot in Microsoft Fabric is rolling out in stages with the goal that all customers with a paid Fabric capacity (F64 or higher) or Power BI Premium capacity (P1 or higher) have access to the Copilot preview. It becomes available to you automatically as a new setting in the Fabric admin portal when it's rolled out to your tenant. When charging begins for the Copilot in Fabric experiences, you can count Copilot usage against your existing Fabric or Power BI Premium capacity.

Regarding the charge how much is the cost of enabling Copilot and Azure OpenAI Service (preview)?

As part of your existing Power BI Premium or Fabric Capacity, at a rate of 400 Capacity Units seconds per 1,000 input tokens and 1,200 Capacity Units seconds per 1,000 output tokens.

And Azure Open AI charges remains same as mentioned in the Azure OpenAI Service pricing page.

Will there be any data leaks or copies outside of my data jurisdiction?

Before enabling these services, it is important to review the terms of service and privacy policies to ensure that they align with your organization's policies and requirements. As for data jurisdiction, you should review the terms of service and privacy policies to ensure that your data will be stored and processed in compliance with your organization's data jurisdiction requirements.
