Hello Microsoft team members,

We are inquiring whether our Microsoft tenant might have a bug or if this issue is affecting other Microsoft Teams Meetings users. We utilize Microsoft Teams Meetings to conduct virtual online instruction for our courses. During some of these sessions, breakout rooms are employed multiple times within a 2-2.5-hour timeframe. We've observed that after launching breakout rooms for the third time, some participants, and more recently, even faculty organizers or co-organizers, are being disconnected from the overall session. We're curious if there might be a limit on the number of times breakout rooms can be used, or if there is a system bug causing this issue.

    Hi @Jason Barr

Organizing a meeting with breakout rooms is currently only available in the Teams for Education desktop app for Windows or Mac. Please make sure you have updated to the latest version.

Meetings with breakout room capabilities are limited to 300 participants. Please make sure your meeting does not exceed 300 participants.
