Hi Team,

While I was trying to set some permissions to my user account during Azure Container Registry , I made some changes to my role and after that when I am trying to access my azure account, but it keeps showing me the message "you don't have access to this", and "restricted tenant". It says we have some problems with your login token. I even can't submit a support ticket and can't do anything. I tried to call Microsoft support team over call but could not reach from last 5 days.

Note: I have created VM's, App Services and storage accounts with the same login and had a free trial subscription and the subscription i have created on 13-April-2024 and I have not exhausted the allotted credits also.

I made some changes to my role

role permissions and 'restricted tenant', did you removed your access(which i dont think) for that tenant so when you try again you are restricted from login?

I created a Azure Container Registry on the portal.

Then I was trying to push the image file using Docker extension for VS Code.

I got some errors to access the repositories of ACR so I followed the below step in ACR

In the menu on the left click Access control (IAM)

Click + Add -> Add role assignment

Switch to the Privileged administrator roles tab

Select the Contributor role and click Next

Click + Select members and select your user from the list

Click Select, Review + assign, Review + assign again, and after assignment is complete go again to Repositories, and this time you won't see the error.

In the 8th step i selected urssethideepakgmail.onmicrosoft.com from the users list as it was only the option in the list but the email id i used to create the subscription was urssethi.deepak@gmail.com.

Then I invited urssethi.deepak@gmail.com (user id with which i created the azure account) to access application from below details

Organization: Default Directory

Domain: urssethideepakgmail.onmicrosoft.com

After I accepted the invitation and then I did some role changes regarding owner which i vaguely remember. After this I am facing the issue and with the same login I am not able to see my subscription and other resources i created in the resource group basically everything is empty or access is denied.

are you still facing the same error? since this is a trial account you cannot reach out to microsoft support as you will not be having a valid support plan.

you cannot change role(if you were owner and down it to contributor role) if you have logging in from that particular user

@Vinodh247 No the error still persists :(. I tried many things suggested above and from internet and nothing worked:(.

I have created App Services, VM's, Storage account and container registries with that free trial subscription with email <REDACTED>@gmail.com. The free credits were getting utilized because of the above created resources.

As I am not able to login with the free trial subscription will I be charged further as I am not able to delete the Resource Group or resources? If yes can Microsoft remove the subscription related to user id <REDACTED>@gmail.com and Subscription Id : <REDACTED>. I want to ensure that I wont get surprise charges in future because I haven't deleted the resources.

Let me know how can I do this it will be very helpful :)

What do you see when you click on the “Help + support” button in the top right corner in your azure portal? were you able to reach support using that?

@Vinodh247 : I have attached screenshot of the Help+Support page. It is not allowing to entry the problem type. I have called on few numbers 0008004402008, 0008004402038 for Azure technical support but could not reach any tech support person to address the issue.

Please let me know how can I delete the resources which I have created with my account or disable billing.

As a last option, try deleting your subscription. This will automatically delete your sub and all the resource that you have created under it, possibly halting whatever the billing(if any) is happening.

@Vinodh247 : The problem is that I am not able to see any subscription listed with the email id which i have used to create the resources. I have the subscription Id details with me and also the tenant id associated to it. I want someone from the Microsoft team to cancel my subscription from back end as I am not able to do it from my end using Azure CLI command or portal because it is showing access denied everywhere.

Please let me know how Microsoft team can call back me on the issue and cancel the subscription because I am not able to contact them by any means. I am helpless :(
