DFS share reverting files

Question

I have a DFS share setup, and notice files are often reverted back to older / previous state when edited or replaced. In some cases, when reverting a change a file is copied over a newer version and it ends up getting reverted back to the previous newer version of the file.

How can I prevent DFS from reverting changes to files? Or replicating them as intended, keeping whatever was last populate on the DFS share whether newer or older(In the case of reverting a file).

Hi,
Do you mean that you modify the file but the file doesn't save the changes and revert to the previous version？Does it happen occasionally or frequently?
If so, please try to modify the file with UNC path \server\sharefolder and check if the problem happens again.
Or do you mean that the DFS replication between servers are out of sync?
If so, please check the Health Report in DFS management and check if there’s any event ID in Applications and service logs>DFS Replication and, if yes, please provide the detailed error information.
