MSI files are installers so, running an unknown MSI file can be risky, so avoid doing that. It could be malware installers etc. You could try running a virus scan on the file with your trusted antivirus software and if required delete the file.

    Hello

What software you are trying to install? Is it got from official website?

If you are sure the installer is safe to install, you could choose to keep it or it is recommended to remove it. Update the antivirus software to the latest version and perfrom a full scan.
