Why do web pages fail to load after my computer exits hibernation mode despite being connected to the internet, requiring a full restart each time to resolve the issue? This only happened after the most recent windows update. I tried clearing the cache ,updating the web browser, updating the power mgmt settings, but nothing seems to work.

Try a System Restore. Select any earlier point when there was no such issue.
If possible, try to uninstall the offending update.
Update your network driver.
Open Command Prompt as administrator:
Type the following command and press Enter: ipconfig /flushdns
I tried uninstalling the update and return to an earlier version but I receive a message that “something went wrong and the installation was unsuccessful.”
I’m able to search for abt 5 minutes after hibernation now but then the pages fail to load again. Not sure what I’m doing wrong. 😫

Uninstalling and reinstalling BitDefender helped for me.
