Hi, I am not able to find any settings on my dashboard, We are not able to find which settings/services we are using and that settings/services being charged for use. We need to stop those or pause those services

Hi, In Azure portal, please navigate to your Subscription. On left, expand Cost Management and then click on Cost analysis blade. On right, at top, click on View -- Cost by resource After several seconds you should see a list of resources with their accumulated charges for this month, sorted by highest to lowest. If you would like to change to show a different date range, you may click the date filter at the top and change it. There are many different views of cost data and ways to filter/sort it. Your VMs need to say Stopped (deallocated) in order to not be charged for Compute.

Please note that even when VMs are Deallocated you will still be charged for their disk(s), public IP addresses (if exists), and other related resources.

Some suggestions:

Delete any VM(s) and their disks, public IP addresses, etc., that are no longer needed.

If using Public IP address with a VM, you could Disassociate it from the VM's network interface and then delete the Public IP address. That way no charges would accrue for the IP address. Downside is you would need to create a new Public IP address and associate with the VM's network interface next time you start the VM.

When creating a VM you should use smallest managed disk(s) for your needs. For example, try to use 30 GB size for OS disk if possible. Standard HDD is lowest cost option, but also has generally the lowest performance.
