Teams in Android Auto

Hi,

I am using Teams on a Galaxy S10, all software is up to date, and after doing a factory reset of the phone, Teams no longer shows meetings or any additional information on the app in Android Auto. Prior to the factory reset it was showing messages, meetings, and other content in the Android Auto app.

I have seen other posts related to this... I do not have a BYOD or Intune managed device, Teams is installed on my phone directly and not in the work profile. I have tried all the troubleshooting tips, including, cache clear, re-installing, etc.

Here are some general tips you might find helpful:

Check that you have granted all necessary permissions to the Teams app on your phone, including permission to access your calendar and notifications.

Make sure that your phone is properly connected to your car's infotainment system and that Android Auto is running correctly.

Try restarting both your phone and your car's infotainment system, as this can sometimes resolve connectivity issues.

Thanks, I have all permissions enabled for both teams and Android auto. I can see the teams app in the android auto launcher and open it, however it says "No new messages during this drive"

Had the same issue, working fine for 2-3 weeks then the call and calendar options vanished.

Found this Microsoft support page that says only Android 14 and above are supported, even though it was working fine for me with Android 12.

Maybe you should delete the app and try reinstalling it.
