Hello!

In my company we user Windows Server 2022 with a CAL 2022 per employee.

Now, I would like to add in my network a Windows Server 2019. Is it compliant with the Windows server Licensing to have both, Windows Server 2022 and Windows Server 2019, with my 2022 CAL?

Thanks!

You can downgrade a 2022 CAL to work with a 2019 server but you cannot go the other way. For a per user CAL then you need 1 2022 CAL for each user and they can connect to either 2019 or 2022 servers.
