I want to close my old (not in use anymore) hotmail MS-account. But while attempting to close it, the system tells me there is a tenant (I do have the Tenant-ID) using that account.

I do not remember why/when/how I ever setup such a tenant. But if I go to that tenant on Azure/entra-administration portal and try to delete that tenant, it tells me only a Global Administrator can delete it. So how can I get rid of this tenant and my old hotmail MS-Account

Hi, can I have an update on this please. The message I have is :

    "
    You can't leave this tenant

Because you are the last admin in this organization (tenant), you’re not allowed to leave it. You’ll need to delete this tenant instead. Learn more

You can now close this tab.

If I login to the Tenant, through https://myaccount.microsoft.com?tenantId=671a8452-83c4-458f-8486-6da335c1116d, I see

    User's image

But if I click on 'Leave' , I have again the same message:
