Currently I have a custom domain on my API endpoint in API Management. It is for the gateway endpoint. I want to assign the domain of the developer portal to a separate domain. However, it does not work when I follow the steps outlined here. For reference, on the Gateway page I changed the type to "developer portal" and input the certificate file and password, along with the hostname associated with the certificate. Could anyone provide any guidance on how to proceed?

    Hi @hampton123,

Under Developer portal - Frequently asked questions - Azure API Management | Microsoft Learn, when assigning a custom domain to the developer portal, you have to republish the portal for the changes to take effect. If you've already done this, try utilizing the troubleshooting guide, Azure API Management Diagnose and solve problems | Microsoft Learn, to identify and address the issue. Collecting a HAR trace file can help confirm if the issue is being caused by the domain assigned or an untrusted cert.

But you're still not able to determine the issue, please comment down below so we can more work more closely with you.
