I am trying display column elements using "=Tracking[Type]" Tracking is table name and Type is column name. This gives value Error.

Could you show us a related screenshot?
Does the column that you want to show Typing column element in the same sheet or workbook with Tracking table?
Screenshot 2024-05-03 112657.pngthis is the colum and it belong to table named as Tracking. I use =Tracking[Type] and expected to show the the column entires in the same table or in ther sheet.

Thanks for your back.Could you pleases show us the screenshot of the formula in formula bar and the value errors like following image? Any privacy information, you can cover it.
You may go to Formulas tab > Formula Auditing group > Show Formulas, then take a screenshot and show with us.
The entries in type column is a list. I doesnt have a formula in it

Type is column name.
And what for a result do you expect, when you reference a complete column in one single cell?
And you missed the exclamation mark.
Try it with
=Tracking!A1
This issue has nothing to do with your formula, it's anywhere inside your file.
