Hi,

I deleted many Edge profiles I manually created days ago until there was only one or two left. But when I started to add new profile again, the new profile name showing "Profile 21" or "Profile 22", instead of "Profile 2" or "Profile 3". The data in its "ShortcutName" entry is correct, showing "Profile 3". I tried to delete them again back to one and restart my machine but new profile number just won't start from 2 or 3, they are just getting bigger from 20+. Is there any way I can do so that after I delete those profiles the new one can start from Profile 2 again to match it actual data value? Capture

Our Edge version is "123.0.2420.81 (Official build) (64-bit)". Windows 10 Enterprise.

This behavior is by design, we can't change it unfortunately. I suggest that you can provide feedback to Edge team by pressing Alt+Shift+I in Edge.

Do you update Edge recently? I think it might be related with Edge updates.
