SharePoint Server 2019 License renewal

Question

We are using SharePoint Standard CAL for our firm, and we are looking to extend the current license. But when we check to update the License from CA->Upgrade and Migration ->Convert License Type , the field - Enter the Product Key: is read only.

How can I change the Key? I want to use the same standard License only.

one more question: How we can know the expiry date of the License?

According to your description you mean that you cannot type anything in the "Enter the Product Key" textbox, right?

Please try run the SharePoint Central Administration as administrator. Also, try change a browser or access the SharePoint Central Administration on another server.

If you bought SharePoint directly from Microsoft, you can go to SharePoint volume licensing service center to check the expiration date. If you bought form MS partner, you need to contact them to help you check.
