I previously pirated Windows. But then couldn't remove the key(I guess, its a long time, it would reactivate automatically after sometime).
I then in installation repair options, cleaned all drives to unallocated using diskpart, and made new outlook email which I entered in the new installation of Windows 10, so the pirated key won't be linked through my old email. It automatically activated without asking for a key to Windows 10 Home.
It says Windows is activated through digital license linked to your account, and also says OEM_DM channel, so maybe manufacturer put a key in the Desktop PC motherboard. The motherboard is used and bought separately. Not a part of branded system probably. I don't know if they put motherboards took out from branded system, its of ASUS.
Is it legitimately activated?

If you had pirate version of Windows, then you have to backup your data and completely format your Windows and install the Genuine one and activate it.
Activating pirate version of Windows with Genuine license or do repair install normally won't work.
I am saying that I made a clean install by usb with windows from official site and unallocating both my drives(format windows, lets say) but it got automatically activated. I don't know what you mean by completely reformat.

If you're reinstalling the OS on the same device, the activation will happen automagically, meaning you just need to fabricate your bootable USB installer for the OS using Windows Media Creation Tools and then perform the reinstall. The OEM license key is tethered to the motherboard's BIOS chip, meaning if you change the BIOS chip or the motherboard, the license/activation is gone with it.

I mean I have OEM DM channel now, and installed genuine copy from official site, I don't think OEM_DM channel is something that can be pirated. The activation happened automatically and email I entered was not entered previously on the pirated windows. So please tell me in yes or no if the activation is legal? Also tell me the exact reason why this is gonna be legal or illegal.
