Hi,

I have now SCCM 2309 and it seems it works after third attempt. Now I want to upgrade it to SCCM 2403 and have some questions:

  1. Can I upgrade directly from 2309 to 2403 without installing 2309 Hotfix Rollup (KB25858444)?
  2. I have SQL 2017 STD and want to upgrade to SQL 2022. Is that supported?
  3. How can I upgrade SQL 2017 to SQL 2022 on the SCCM Server?
  4. As I know, the HTTP-only communication is deprecated, at the time I am using "HTTPS or HTTP" and don't use "Use Configuration Manager generated certificate for HTTP site system" http As I know I have to enable the "Use Configuration Manager generated certificate for HTTP site system" before the upgrading 20 2403 or after Upgrading. Am I right? What happens if I check that option for MP and all the devices?

I got the following Error by Perquisite Check

    Hi, @PerserPolis-1732

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

    1. Yes, you can.
    2. Yes, it's supported.
    3. To upgrade SQL Server on the site database server:

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/configmgr/core/servers/manage/upgrade-on-premises-infrastructure#to-upgrade-sql-server-on-the-site-database-server

4.Yes, we must at least enable Enhanced HTTP for client communication or HTTPS. To enable enhanced http, we have to enable the "Use Configuration Manager generated certificate for HTTP site system". The MP will communicate with all devices with the Configuration Manager generated certificate.
