in document intelligence can i tag entire sentence as one data element, and only one word in it as another data element? Current if i tag "coca cola 10 ml can" as description and "10ml" unit, then it automatically changes description to "coca col can"

line items have description. i want emntire description to be tagged as description and only the size as Item variant. for eg "Coca cola 100 ml Can" as description but "100 ml" as Item variant. when i do the labelling in Document intelligence under custom model, it changes description to "Coca cola can" and item variant remains "100 ml

    Hi @HARSHULA TULAPURKAR,

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A forum!

Iam able to repro your issue using a template model in Document Intelligence to label the Item_variant and Description. Please follow the below steps:

    • Upload the documents you want to label and select the "Draw region" option from the toolbar.
    • First label the Item_variant (e.g 100 ml) using Draw region and next draw a region of entire sentence (e.g. Coca cola 100 ml Can) as another label called Description. User's image

Train the model (Note: It will take some time).

    • After training test your model and it will be able to produce the required output. See the below output, the model will be able to give the entire sentence as one data element (Kinley 500ml bottle) as Description and only one word in it as another data element (500ml) as Item-variant. User's image

If the model is not providing the desired results, consider training it with additional documents to improve its performance.

I hope this helps. And, if you have any further query do let us know.
