image field not got converted as a managed component

I created a solution in my source environment (DEV) that included a new table with multiple fields, some of which are image fields. After exporting the solution as a managed solution and deploying it to a higher environment (TEST/UAT), I observed that the image fields were imported as unmanaged fields.

I would appreciate your insights on why these image fields are behaving like out-of-box fields.

I really appreciate your input,

it's basically apart of any learning module

from the product perspective it should behave as managed but it not

as I am converting my customization to managed it should convert my component as managed.

here the component is a field, and it's a related component of an entity. Got that ?

Even though thinking like why it behaving so, everything should fall under component!

If I'm converting it as a managed solution, it should have converted as a managed component, but it exported as managed solution but not the specific component, why ?
