Approach for configuring multiple CMG services

Hi Team,

We are going to create new CMG services along with existing CMG service in SCCM. Can you please provide us clarification on the below query.

1. Can multiple CMG services use same Azure Services in ConfigMgr (WebApp and Client App) or we need to create new Azure services ( web app & client app)?
2. Can multiple CMG use same resource group. currently classic method is using the subscription, and we are planning to create virtual scale set method?
3. Can we run classic method and virtual scale set method at same time ?

1. No, you will need to create separate azure apps.
2. Yes, you can use the same resource group and the subcription. Just be mindful of the resouce providers that need to be registered for VMSS.
3. Yes. If you cannot convert, then the recommended way is to setup a new VMSS so that your remote clients become aware of it through your existing classic deployment then you can safely remove the classic deployment. This was you will not lose access of your remote clients.
