Does this issue occur on the Teams web client?
If the issue only occurs in the Teams desktop client, please update Teams to the latest version (and use New Teams) or try clearing the Teams cache and restarting.
You can also try Pin chats on the Teams web client, and those chats will be synced to the desktop client.
If the above method does not solve the problem, please try to Unpin all chats and then Re-pin.
