Hello,

I am currently subscribed to Azure for Students.

Recently, I filled out a form and gained access to Azure OpenAI services. I wanted to inquire about the extent of usage available for free through the Azure for Students subscription.
Is there a limit to the usage that can be used freely, such as 1000 tokens per minute or similar?
Alternatively, can I utilize the $100 credit provided through this subscription for accessing these services?

Thank you for your assistance.

    Hello @Seokho

Thanks for posting in the Microsoft Q&A!

It's fantastic news that you've secured special access to Azure OpenAI through Azure for Students. While specific usage limits might not be publicly available, there are steps you can take to find out more. Firstly, check for any communication from Microsoft, such as emails, that might outline limitations for your Azure OpenAI access. Secondly, experiment with the service and monitor your usage patterns to identify any limits you encounter. Additionally, reaching out to Azure Support for Students is highly recommended. They can provide specific details about usage limits and any other relevant information regarding your granted access. Although the $100 credit can't be directly applied to Azure OpenAI, you can explore other valuable Azure services like Cognitive Services, which offer alternatives for working with text data. By combining your special access and the $100 credit, you have a fantastic opportunity to delve into the world of AI!

If you find this solution useful, consider accepting it.
