Question 1 :
I want to create a 2nd chart from alternative data in a worksheet
I have already created a chart from different data in this worksheet.
When I open a new worksheet to host the new chart, and insert a chart it creates a blank chart box.
However the plus symbol and the funnel symbol are greyed out.
How do I get data into this chart?
Question 2:
I created a spreadsheet, listing wage expenditure for each day of the year (365)
I inserted formulas to calculate minimum, average and highest values.
I also inserted a column, detailing hours worked by a team of 7 people and sub totaled it for each day.
When I tried using the same min, average, highest formulas as above, but modified to pick up the sub totals only and adding them together instead of specifying a range as above, it did not work.
What formula should I use?
The original formulas were =MIN(FILTER(Q13:Q2821,Q13:Q2821>0))
=AVERAGEIF(Q13:Q2821,"<>0")
=MAX(Q13:Q2821)
The filters and ifs were required to ignore daily values that had not been entered yet i.e. data on hours only entered for 4 weeks so far.

Hi, I am trying to attach the excel file so you can view it but it wont attach. Is there another way I can send it to you?
Hi @Laurence Clerkin
For Question one, if you click the chart, can you see the Chart Design tab in ribbon?
If so, please click Select Data in Data group, and add data source.
For Question two, I suggest you provide more details, such as sharing us with a simple sample.
