I have payment of almost 80$ on my Azure account. I learn programming and I haven't notice that it is paid. On my Microsoft there is no information on this payments whatsoever. I am surprised, as I don't have much knowledge, and I have been using my web app in Azure only for educational purposes. Is there any way out of this problem? I would be very grateful for any solution. When I have opened it it was only below 60$ and I have already accepted cancellation, but it is now above 70$ and it didn't change the forecast! I really need to do something before it will give me larger costs! I attach the screenshot. Please help.

    Refer to https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/cost-management-billing/costs/cost-analysis-common-uses

    This will allow you to identify resources which incur the cost - once you do, consider deleting them

    Hi @Julia Głocka ,

    first of all: The 77 € is the amount of the forecasted costs. Actually your real costs are 24 €.

    The forecast cost is based on the current consumption so far with some math how much it would be end of the month if the current consumption will be the same for the rest of the time.

    If you are using a web app/Azure App Service you have two options:

    Delete the web app so no additional costs are produced

    1. Take care which plan you are using. There is an App Service Free Plan (F1) for 0 costs but the resources are very limited. Here you will find some more details: App Service Free Plan

    I am not sure which plan you are using right now.

    @Marcin Policht @Andreas Baumgarten
    Thank you for your answers. I believe the costs arose, since I have not stopped my application from running and there are limits of free transfer. So I understand, if I cancelled subscription and stopped it from running it will no longer process costs.

    Nonetheless it is strange that the costs forecasts doesn't change after cancelling subscription, and neither after stopping the application.
