Sharepoint Online Site Audit Log

Question

In the Site Collection Audit log I need to run the Deleted Items report. The problem is it only gives me the option to save the document to a SharePoint location, which I do not want to do since others will see it. Is there anyway I can save the document directly to my workstation?

Hi @rr-4098,

This is an expected behavior in SharePoint and I'm afraid we cannot save the log to local. I suggest you go to Microsoft 365 admin center >> Compliance >> Audit:

Report generated from here can be exported to local.
