Adjust participant volume in Teams

Question

When will an update to adjust individual user volume come to Teams? The inability to adjust volume if someone on a call has excessively loud input (compared to the majority of participants) is antiquated at best.

Currently, Teams has not launched the function of adjusting the volume for individual users in meetings/calls (although as a meeting organizer, you can prohibit individual users from speaking).

To get this feature more quickly, you can send a feedback directly to Microsoft Feedback to add it in future updates.

Many features of our current products are designed and upgraded based on customers’ feedback. With requirements like this increase, the problem may well be released in the future.
