How to open an XML file in MS Edge

Question

I created my first XML in windows 11, therefore, there is no Explorer. I assumed Edge would be able to open an XML, but it does not. Why? And is there a workaround?

It may be that there is a problem with your XML format, so it won't open in Edge.

However, you can try opening the XML file using a text editor like Notepad.

To do this, right-click on the XML file and select "Open with" and then choose the text editor you prefer. Alternatively, you can open the text editor and then drag and drop the XML file into the editor window.
