Hello Community,

In Classic Front Door, we have an attribute called Frontend host that could be used for example in a DNS record to point an address (example https://myfrontdoor.azurefd.net).

However when I've migrated to a Standard version, I didn't found an equivalent for this parametre.

Do you know please what is replacing this endpoint for the Standard one.

Thanks and BR,

Lotfi

    Hello @Lotfi Ounis ,

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A Platform. Thank you for reaching out & hope you are doing well.

I understand that you would like to know what the Frontend host equivalent for Front Door Standard is.

For Front Door Standard/Premium, the frontend host is accessed by its endpoint hostname.

    Refer: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/frontdoor/create-front-door-portal#verify-azure-front-door

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/frontdoor/endpoint?tabs=azurecli

When you migrate your Azure Front Door (classic) to Azure Front Door Standard or Premium, the Frontend/domains changes to Domains (Copied from Front Door (classic) profile).

    Refer: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/frontdoor/tier-mapping

You can find it under properties in the Overview page or in the Front Door manager page under domains as below:

You are looking for the "Endpoint Hostname" value, which shows all the hostnames the FD will respond to.
