Cancel reservation - synapse dedicated pool

Question

I am reaching out to seek the community's assistance in understanding the process for cancelling our reservation. We have reserved the Synapse dedicated pool for 3 years and have completed 18 months. Is it possible to cancel this reservation? Also, we are billed monthly through an Azure partner, and we are concerned about how the cancellation will impact our billing. Also, would there be any cancellation charges? I appreciate your support on this. Thank you.

To cancel your reservation, you can follow the steps outlined in the Azure documentation here.

Regarding your billing concerns, cancelling your reservation will stop the billing for the reserved capacity. However, if you have already paid for the entire 3-year reservation, you may be subject to a cancellation fee. You can find more information about the cancellation fees here.
